its easy to get in. I was extremely overqualified for this school but went here for the scholarship they gave me. just remeber, that you get what you pay for.

I had a 4.0 gpa and was top 10% of my hs class. I also had a pretty solid SAT score and played plenty of sports in hs and was also an artist. Honestly, I don't think Rutgers pays too much attention to the extracurriculars because of its size, unless you're a STAR athlete. The best thing you can do is try to get good grades in high school and a decent SAT score; if you do that, you should be just fine.

I took a lot of challenging classes and applied earlier than usual. I'm pretty average but what did help was that I was an honors student. My suggestion: just do your best on everything.
